Google’s former billionaire CEO: Ethereum is not given the value it deserves

Google’s former CEO, billionaire Eric Schmidt, praised the potential of the Ethereum platform and said the value it deserves is not given.

Google’s former CEO billionaire Eric Schmidt, a technology giant, said in September that Ethereum was downplayed in technical use at a special event hosted by the venture capital firm, Village Global .

Details from the special event were not known by Village Global until this week’s event was broadcasted on Youtube.

Famous writer and economist Tyler Cowen, in a conversation with Schmidt, asked him about his ideas on anthropology, from life expectancy in Antarctica to the Blockchain.

The former CEO of Google said that when asked whether the Blockchain was exaggerated, it was exaggerated in the public dimension, but believed that the technical perspective was not enough.

Cowen asked Schmidt what Blockchain technology could solve. Schmidt said Blockchain is a great platform for Bitcoin and other currencies and private banking transactions that people don’t trust each other.

Google’s former CEO praised the potential of the Ethereum platform:

I I think the most interesting thing is starting the application on Blockchain, the most obvious example is Ethereum’s ability. If Ethereum is able to find a way to global synchronization of this activity, it will be a very powerful platform. This is really a new invention.

Meanwhile, in July, at a Blockchain conference in Morocco, Google’s co-founder, Sergey Brin, announced that he had made a trial for Ether mining .

Google’s current CEO, Sundar Pichai, said earlier this week that his 11-year-old son was mining Ether on his home computer.
